Northern Territory Lived Experience Advisory Group (LEAG)

We are seeking people aged 18+ from all six regions of the Northern Territory who:

• Have previous personal lived experience of homelessness
• Are willing to share their experiences to help improve systems and services
• Can participate respectfully and collaboratively in group discussions
• Are passionate about creating positive change for people experiencing homelessness

We are particularly keen to hear from:

• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
• People with experience of domestic, family and sexual violence
• Young people (18–25 years)
• LGBTQIA+SB people
• People from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
• People with disability
• People from remote and regional communities

Participation includes:

• Online meetings approximately every two months (around two hours)
• One to two in-person meetings each year, with travel and accommodation covered
• Training, mentoring and ongoing support
• Recognition payments for participation
